I am Karel (like kah-rel) and I have a a passion for yoga. I started practicing yoga in 2006 and found that it has helped me become more confident, calm, and happy. In the beginning, I started yoga to become more fit and healthy but as I deepened my practice throughout the years, it has truly became a practice for the mind, body, and spirit.
In January 2015, I started and completed my 200-hour teacher training in Pavones Yoga Center in Costa Rica under Indira Kate Kalmbach, Barbara Pomaro, & Jane DeWitt. The nature-based training is a multidimensional study that includes asana, pranayama, meditation & philosophy.
My goals for this website is to write, blog, teach others what I learned, and learn more about yoga. I am a life-long learner and forever a student. This is my way of documenting my yoga progress, learning more, teaching others, and some personal updates on what is going on in my life. I want to be able to show you all my love for my practice and bring you all along in my journey. Thank you for all of your love and support! (:
